Introduction to Ashtanga Yoga Course

15 września @ 19:30 8 grudnia @ 20:50

Do you think yoga is only about stretching and relaxation? Then it’s time to discover a broader perspective.

➜ This course combines strength, mobility, active and isometric stretching, breathing techniques and mindful movement to help you develop a stronger, more stable and more mobile body.

➜ You don’t need to be flexible, strong or in good physical shape, and no previous yoga experience is required all you need is the willingness to begin.

➜ We will work with elements of the Primary Series of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga, pranayama, Yin Yoga and myofascial release, with a focus on technique, body awareness and safe movement.

Yang builds strength and stability, while Yin creates space to release tension and develop mobility.

Progress takes time one yoga class a week is a valuable investment in yourself, and three months gives you the opportunity to experience the process and feel the difference.

About Renia

Renia’s journey into yoga began long before she first stepped onto a mat. Her interest in Eastern philosophy and movement led her to complete a master’s degree focused on Indian philosophy. After years of practising Iyengar yoga and martial arts, she discovered Ashtanga yoga — a practice that brought together discipline, body awareness, and her curiosity about the relationship between movement and mind. Over the years, Renia has studied with internationally recognised teachers including Sharath Jois, Anthony Prem Carlisi, Isa Wong, Eddie Stern, Santina Chard, Iain Grysak, and Bobbi Misiti. Their guidance has deeply shaped her understanding of yoga and allowed her to explore the richness of the Ashtanga tradition and the legacy of K. Pattabhi Jois. She currently trains with Day Christensen.
